Tonight I had the honor of meeting Sage, a 1.5-year-old boa constrictor. We hung out for awhile at my friend’s housewarming party but I did not get to feed her a rodent, as promised.

Somewhere in Indiana, the DQ girl said this to me: “What will you have, dearie? A double-dipped cone or a Blizzard with my special Nilla Wafer crumb topping? Either way you are doomed to come crawling back for more! We have spotted you halfway across the country seeking out my delicacies. You think it is the “secret ingredient” that is responsible for your addiction. But I know the Truth. My power lies in something you know well but can never create: the curly-Q soft-serve dollop.”
